The redesigned Bio-Gen PRO200 Hand-Held Laboratory Homogenizer delivers dependable performance in a lightweight, ergonomic design. Its improved housing and thumb-operated variable speed control provide greater comfort, precise speed adjustment, and convenient one-handed operation for routine laboratory sample preparation.
Using proven high-shear rotor-stator homogenization technology, the PRO200 rapidly processes samples by drawing material into the generator probe and exposing it to intense mechanical and hydraulic shear. This efficient action supports consistent tissue disruption, cell lysis, emulsification, dispersion, mixing, and particle-size reduction.
Ideal for cell disruption, tissue homogenization, protein and nucleic acid extraction, emulsification, particle-size reduction, sample preparation, and laboratory mixing, the PRO200 processes sample volumes from 0.03 mL to 500 mL* at variable speeds from 5,000 to 35,000 rpm. Its powerful 144 W high-torque motor delivers fast, repeatable performance across biological, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, cosmetic, environmental, academic research, product-development, and quality-control laboratories.
The PRO200 uses the proven PRO Quick Connect stainless-steel generator probe system, allowing fast probe changes while providing secure coupling, reduced vibration, and easy cleaning.
